Exterior

1818. Cast iron bridge of 4 rings of cast iron, each in 2 sections, bolted at the centre, with open ring spandrels and abutment frames bearing on stone abutments. The deck is of timber boards carried on iron/steel joists placed longitudinally each side and protected at the edges by finely detailed cast iron railings.In poor condition at the time of inspection (January 1996).

Reasons for Listing

Included as an interesting early use of cast iron and as a significant component of the early layout at Dolforgan Hall.
