History

Part of a three-period house formerly called Pontfaen and now divided into three properties. Pontfaen Cottage is name of earliest part, probably early C19, Nythfa was added to right in mid C19.

Exterior

Whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof and stone end stacks, that to left joined to end stack of Pontfaen cottage, that to right larger. Stone tabling. Two-storey, double-fronted facade of 16-pane hornless sashes with stone voussoirs and stone sills. Centre ledged door with stone voussoirs.

Reasons for Listing

Listed as a good mid C19 house in late Georgian style.
