History

Revetment wall and rear curtilage walls of Nos 4-9 Castle Terrace. Close to line of medieval wall and possibly incorporating some medieval walling. Until late C20 covered by warehouses on the Town Quay, restored c. 2000.

Exterior

Retaining wall, rubble stone, restored in late C20. Highest at castle end, to W, behind Pembroke Castle shop with some rebuilt crenellations. Wall runs behind rebuilt former warehouse, now Pembroke Watersports centre, and in walling are various relieving arches above bedrock. Wall drops down towards E, with some blocked doors and joist holes for former buildings.

Included for its special historic interest as part of the setting of the walled town and castle.
