History

Table tomb probably dating from very soon after the first recorded death in 1862.

Exterior

Fine grained sandstone slab carried on four cast iron legs. The legs are ribbed and taper from fluted feet to caps. The slab has a central ridge and is hipped to the corners. It has a moulded edging. Incised lettering on the four faces, the oldest inscription to Margaret Davies, died 1862.

Reasons for Listing

Included as an unusual example of a Victorian table tomb having group value with the adjoining chapel and minister's house.
