History

Part of the Cawdor Estate model farm at Dryslwyn, mid-C19; they were apparently not yet built at the time of the 1839 Tithe Map.

Exterior

A range of five pigsties and a shed, in rubble sandstone masonry with slate roof and tile ridge. The slates are laid in 'to'r brat' technique. Stone-walled front yards with limestone flag paving. One boarded gate survives. Rendered round copings to yard walls.

Interior

Trusses with collar beams, one purlin each side.

Reasons for Listing

A fine C19 range of pigsties which is part of the remarkably complete model farm at Dryslwyn-fawr.
