History

Probably an early - mid C19 addition to the farmstead.

Exterior

Rectangular stable block built into the hillside of narrow coursed rubble with traces of limewash and stone tile roof. Two stable doors with adjacent small windows with stone lintels and sills . In the uphill gable end a pitching door. Lean-to on downhill side.

Interior

Interior retains cobbled floor, stone and wood mangers and hay racks.

Reasons for Listing

Listed as an unaltered stable retaining fabric and fittings for group value with the farmhouse and attached range.
