History

Probably early C19 haybarn, contemporary with the adjacent farmhouse at Rhosigor and the other associated agricultural buildings; some C20 alterations.

Exterior

Early C19 haybarn built of roughly coursed, mortared, rubble masonry; roof of profiled metal sheeting. The barn is of 4 bays, the front (W) wall has an open bay or doorway offset to the R (S) end, the other bays, and those along the rear wall partially enclosed with rubble walling. The gable walls are full height with ground floor splayed ventilations slits; small window in the apex of the N gable.

Interior

The 4-bay roof has pegged trusses with tie beams.

Included as an early C19 haybarn that forms an integral part of the small farmstead group at Rhosigor.
