History

Probably mid C19, and formerly the stables to E Fowles and Sons, bakers, 12 Town Hill.

Exterior

Two storey former stables; front faces west. Scribed render; corrugated roof covering. On first floor, 2 windows with horned sash glazing. Four bays to ground floor, firstly, a horned sash window, then a doorway with overlight and modern door, a horned sash window, and at R end, a former stable doorway, now a large segmental-headed window.

Reasons for Listing

A mid C19 stables block retaining its overall character with Group Value with Nos 7 to 14 Dark Street to west.
