House in row, with shop. C18 and late C19. Rendered front over
Flemish band brickwork, tile roofs. Parallel side-entry plan.
A rebuilt front block covering a throughway to the right, has
2 narrow hipped wings to the rear, plus a further lower pair,
all in brick and tile, of the C18. The entrance to the ground
floor is through the doorway to the left, under No.125 (qv). 3
storeys, 2-windowed. 4-pane sashes to flush peaked stone
lintels and stone cills. A late C20 shop front retains the C19
pilasters and deep fascia with moulded cornice and consoles,
continued to a doorway to the right with 6 vertical modelled
panels, under a transom panel. Plain coped parapet, no stack
visible. INTERIOR not inspected, but the rear wings may be of
interest.
