Memorial to Gen. The Hon. Sir Percy Robert Basil Feilding KCB, 2nd son of William 7th Earl of Denbigh. b. 26 Jun 1827, d. 5 Jan 1904. In the cartouche held by cherubs is IHS. Engraved in the green marble above the epitaph is Pax Aeterna (Everlasting peace). The Arms are, on an Austrian eagle displayed sable, quarterly 1 and 3 argent on a fesse azure three lozenges or (Feilding), 2 and 3 a lion rampant gules, impaling, quarterly 1 and 4 a field on which five bars, 2 and 3 a lion rampant. A crescent for difference (second son). (Photo Sept 2013).
