Alabaster tomb: Here lyeth the body of Sir William Feilding Knight, late of Padoxe Newneham which deceased the 24th of September 1547 and Elizabeth his wife, daughter of Sir Thomas Poultney Knight which deceased the 8th of September 1539 who had issue fowr sonnes and i daughter. The Arms on the side are Gules on a fesse azure three lozenges or (Feilding), impaled with Argent a fess dancettee gules in chief three leopards faces sable (Poultney of Miserton, co. Leicester).
