Row of 4 Southill Estate cottages. Plaque: "W H W 1855". Yellow brick with
red brick dressings. Clay tile roof. 4-room plan in total, 2 storeys and
attics. 4 3-light windows to ground.floor, 4 2 light windows to first floor,
4 gabled dormers to attic, all cast iron lattice casements. Cambered heads to
ground and first floors. Central gabled porch has pair of entrances with
cambered heads. LH one has plank door. 2 brick multiple ridge stacks. Gable
ends have single porches in similiar style. Pierced decorative bargeboards to
porches and gable ends. Included for group value.
