Shop. Early C19, with facade of the C20. Mock timber facade
over brick, with plain tiled roof. 2 storeys, 3-window range
with shop front of three 4-centred arched bays with central
doorway with carved spandrels and leaded upper lights to
windows. Late C20 fascia and canopy over. Upper windows are
leaded casements of 2 lights, flanking a 6-light central
window, and there is a 2-light casement in the central attic
gable. Mock timber-framing is close studding with ogee arched
braces. Enriched barge-boards to gable.
Return elevation to School Gardens is brick wing running back
from this street block. Painted brick, 3 storeys, with
inserted double doors and window to ground floor, 12-pane sash
windows above (20-panes to attic), with flat-arched heads.
Projecting added square oriel at first floor, with leaded
upper lights and carved floral frieze. Dentilled eaves band.
