Wall monument with foliate scrolls flanking the tablet and is surmounted by a swan neck pediment with urn. The apron is decorated with a shield: An eagle displayed sable on a canton or a fess dancetty between six billets ermine (Parkyns), Inescutcheon of pretence: Quarterly 1 and 4 Argent a chevron between three fers de moline sable (James, co. Kent). 2 and 4: Azure on a chevron between three lions passant guardant or ducally crowned of the last, three grenades sable fired proper (James of Park Farm Place, Eltham, co. Kent, baronet), Supporters two pegasi azure billettee ermine, wings addorsed ducally gorged chained or. A barons coronet. Crest: Out of a ducal coronet or, a demi-eagle displayed azure billetee ermine. Motto Honeste audax. baronet. In Memory Of The Right Honourable Thomas Boothby Parkyns, First Baron Rancliffe Son and Heir of Sir Thomas Parkyns, Baronet, Born 24th July 1755. Died 17th November 1800.
He married Elizabeth Anne, sole daughter and heiress of Sir William James of Eltham, Kent, (Photo Oct 2015).
