The monument in the chancel to Sir Thomas Parkyns has a shield of Arms over the inscription. Above it, under a tall Gothick arch is a relief carving of his bereft wife kneeling against his sarcophagus. Inscription: In the vault beneath are deposited the remains of Sir Thomas Parkyns Baronet of Bunny Park who died March 17th 1806 aged 77 years. This monument sacred to his memory was erected by his widow Lady Jane Parkyns-. Shield: Quarterly 1 An eagle displayed sable On a canton or a fess dancetty between six billets ermine (Parkyns). 2, Argent a bear sejant erect collared, muzzled and chained or (Beresford). 3, Gules a fess wavy and in chief three piles wavy argent (Isham). 4, Argent a lion rampant double queued sable (Cressy). Impaling Two arrows in saltire between two roundels in pale each surmounted by a cross patonce (perhaps punning bird bolts, and bees, in place of A chevron between three garbs, for Boultbee). Supporters Two Pegasi argent billettee ermine wings endorsed ducally gorged and chained or. Crest: Out of a ducal coronet or, a fir cone (apple of the pine tree). Motto: Honeste audax.
