Row of 3 cottages. Dated 1809, altered C20. Coursed squared
gritstone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, each cottage of 1 bay;
a mirror pair (Nos 2 & 4) with central entrances right, No.6
has entrance right. Rusticated quoins. Entrances have plain
stone surrounds with tie-stone jambs; windows are 2-light with
flat-faced mullions, the mullion removed from ground floor
right (No.2) and all modern frames. A projecting stone band at
1st-floor level has a rectangular stone plaque with incised
lettering above the paired entrances: M/ J+A 1809. Banded
stone stack right, brick stack between Nos 4 & 6.
