Warehouse. Late C18. Coursed squared gritstone, stone slate
roof. 1 storey to road, 2 storeys to rear which is built
directly over the stone lining of the Leeds and Liverpool
Canal. Central entrance with plain stone surround to road, 1
small window. Canal facade: 8 lower openings obscured by
louvred panels; on upper storey a loading doorway with plain
lintel and tie-stone jambs, now a window; 6 small square
windows grouped 1:3:2. Two low chimneys/vents to ridge. 2 rows
of 3 and 5 X-form tie plates.
