Aisled barn. Mid C16, encased. Mid-late C17. Timber frame encased in large
coursed rubble partly rendered; asbestos roof. 4 bays. Tall cart-entry cut
back in 4th bay has harr-hung doors. Mistal doorway to left in 1st bay. Rear
has opposing cart-entry. Left-hand return has pitching hole to apex.

Interior: fine timber work. Posts on padstones with arched braces to tie beams
and arcade plates. Posts have mortices for ties to former wall plates. King
posts and principals renewed probably mid C18 (one fish-bone king post). Rafters
and purlins mainly original.
