Shops and flats. c1863. Mottled brick with red brick arches.
Slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. 8 bays to Blossom Street, plus rounded
corner bay. The windows to the upper storeys are sashed, with
keystones to their segmental brick arches and with sill bands.
The 1st floor sill band is partly covered by shop fascias. The
1st floor window to the rounded corner bay has a stucco
architrave with a cornice on console brackets. The ground
floor has a continuous timber cornice to the shopfronts. No.4
has a 4-panel door, No.8 has a similar door with an overlight
and pilaster reveals. The shopfront to No.10 has pilasters
with sunken panels and returns on the facade to Queen Street,
which is of 2 main bays plus a 2-storey bay at the left, with
blind recesses to the upper storeys of the right-hand bay.
No.10 has a modillion gutter cornice to its Blossom Street and
Queen Street facades. Chimneys to left of ridge at hipped left
side of roof, and in front of ridge to right of 2nd, 6th and
8th bays.
