House. Circa early C18. Rendered and painted stone rubble and cob. Rag slate roof
with gable ends. Stone rubble axial stack near centre with brick shaft.
Plan altered and original arrangement uncertain. Possibly previously divided into
two, one-room cottages; the left hand cottage probably heated by an end stack with
blocked entrance on right; the right hand cottage heated by the axial stack with
entrance to right originally serving Moss Rose (qv) which adjoins Rosewarren to
right.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical two window front. Ground floor with early C19 12-pane
hornless sash and early C18 12-pane sash with thick glazing bars in blocked opening.
8-pane window, plank door and C19 4-pane sash to right. First floor C19 2-light
casement and C19 3-light sliding sash.
Interior not inspected. Information regarding plan from owner.
Unaltered exterior with reused early C18 sash window. Forms part of picturesque group
in Fore Street, Boscastle.
