Shop with house over, formerly the Mitre Hotel. c1900 facade
to earlier fabric. Rendered, with north gable in random
rubble, clay pantiled gabled roof behind high parapet, brick
chimney stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3 bays. Ground floor has through passage
in bay 1, with 3-centre keystoned arch, then simple shop
windows bays 2 and 3, between which is a part-glazed door in
shallow recess under simple flat timber hood on brackets.
Upper floors have modern casement windows, with a balcony with
cast-iron brackets and balustrading to bays 2 and 3 at
first-floor level.
