St Andrew's Wharf "B" Warehouse

GV II

Warehouse, now flats. c1850, rebuilt inside C20 (with partly
rebuilt elevations). Stock brick with gabled front.
6 storeys, 3 bays. Above altered ground-floor openings central
round-headed hatch rank (now adapted) rising to 5th floor
where it is flanked by 2 small segmental-arched windows; 2
flanking round-headed recesses rising from 1st to 4th floors,
containing segmental-headed windows. Replica gangway over
street from hatch rank on 4th floor. Similar dockside
elevation.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Now part of Java Wharf residential development. Backs onto St
Saviour's Wharf; good group value with other warehouses
between St Saviour's Dock and Shad Thames (qqv).
