Dated 1905. Large villa with Scots vernacular details; white harled with red ashlar dressings; red tiled roofs; loss of chimney stacks significnatly alters profile. 2-storeys with attic. Plain N elevation to Newlands Road, parapetted at left and with datestone panel; main front faces Lubnaig Road, crowstepped tall entrance bay with blank-walled flanking stacks originally reaching high over wallhead stacks, now reduced in height and separated off by rhone pipes. Shaped gabled low projection right, hooded canted ground floor window right; glazing mostly 2-pane lower sashes, multi-paned upper. Deep eaves.
Perimeter wall stepped to slope. Main gateway, with decorative gatepiers to Newlands Road.
