Pair of houses. c.1840-50, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond,
with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Double-fronted plan
with coupled back extensions. Debased Tudor style. Two storeys
and 3 bays, a symmetrical facade designed to appear as one
dwelling, with a central Tudor-style gabled porch (to No.13)
and a small rectangular oriel above this, flanked by gabled
bays which break forwards slightly, each with a 2-storey
canted bay window, that to the left (No.14) with sashed
windows and that to the right with altered glazing. No.14 has
the entrance in the left return wall, by a single-storey
cross-gabled porch with Tudor-arched doorway, and to the rear
of this a long back extension with (inter alia) two 2-storey
canted bay windows.
