House in row, with offices. Early C19 front on C16 fabric.
Flemish bond brickwork, timber-framing, tile roof, brick
stack. Side-entry right-angle plan, with gable to street.
A tall narrow property in 4 storeys and basement, 1-windowed.
In the truncated and shouldered gable a 6-pane sash, and at
first and second floors a 16-pane sash, all to splayed V-joint
lintels with keystone and stone cills. Ground floor has
2-light C19 shop front with glazed door to left, on 2 stone
steps. The deep fascia has decorative cast-iron cresting for
its full width. Grille to basement in pavement. Stone coping
to gable. Square brick stack with stepped capping to right
party wall.
INTERIOR: ground floor front only inspected. Substantial
braced framing exposed in both party walls.
