Former coach house and stables, now storage and garage, with
boundary wall and garden house, to rear of Spring Hill (qv).
Mid C19, altered C20. Coursed squared stone, slate roofs with
stone copings, ashlar details.
From N to S: the tall single-storey former stable with hay
loft over is of 3 narrow bays, central door with loft door in
gable above, flanking plate-glass sashes; the former coach
house is lower and of 1 bay, inserted garage door, deep eaves;
the boundary wall with Elmfield, overall length approx 15m,
incorporates a small single-storey garden house, the wall is
approx 1.2m high, with rounded coping and a terminal at the S
end with stepped pyramid capstone. The garden house has an
entrance on the W side with chamfered quoined surround and
4-centred arch, a small window on the S side and the roof is
of a shallow truncated pyramid form.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
