Pair of houses. No.86 dated 1807 at rear (the former front);
altered, and renovated in 1989. White painted render on brick,
slate roof on 2 slightly different levels. Double-depth plan
(probably formerly single-depth enlarged by addition of
outshuts to former rear); No.86 of 2 units and No.86A one
unit, extended.
EXTERIOR: present facade to Beresford Drive is of one storey
with catslide roof and inserted attics.
No.86 has a square-headed doorway to the second bay with a
small square window to its left, a 3-light casement to the
first bay with a lean-to extension to its left, and a large
gabled dormer in the roof.
No.86A is in 2 narrow portions, that to the right slightly
lower: the first has a square-headed doorway off-set left, and
a gabled dormer in the roof, and the second has a large C20
3-light casement window. 2 ridge chimneys.
Rear (former front) of No.86, one-and-a-half storeys with 2
gabled dormers and a square datestone lettered: A.B / 1807.
Late C20 addition to rear of No.86A.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms group with Nos 5, 6 & 7 Chase Heys, Bibby Road (qv).
