Caelia Priaulx 1751, son Rev. Peter Priaulx 1783. Marble and slate tablet with Arms and scrolled broken pediment. Underneath lieth the Body of Mrs Caelia Priaulx Relict of Peter priaulx DD who died May 11th 1751 Aged 86 Years. Also the Body of The Reverend peter priaulx BD their Son who died march 18th 1783 Aged 80 Years. Having been Fortyone Years Rector of this Parish . In him the Poor have lost A Friend and Benefactor. Below the inscription is a shield of Arms: Gules an eagle displayed or (Priaulx of Guernsey) impaling a bend Azure (Caelias family). (Photo Jun 2015).
