George Cartwright 1923. Stained glass St George with Guels three lions passant guardant or for England on his shield More than conquerors. And shield of Arms Ermine a fess sable between three bombs (Cartwright). St Alban with sword and quill, Ye are witnesses. To the Glory of God and in loving memory of George Cartwright of East Bridgford Hall who entered the fuller life on December 24th 1923 this window is dedicated by his wife AD 1927 (Photo Jun 2015).
