West wall of the chancel, north of the arch, a mural monument of marble. The inscription panel is surmounted by a segmental arch containing a single gold painted angels head. The apron is decorated with a festoon hiding a trumpet of doom. -Here lies the body of Henry Sitwell third son of Francis Sitwell Esq and Katherine his wife Eldest daughter of Henry Sacheverell Esq he died the 7th day of March 1691 and in the 30th yeare of his age-. The gold painted, angels head on the separate Arms above is in a different style: Barry of eight or and vert, three lions rampant sable. (Photo Oct 2014)
