Monument built into a wall tomb in the Lady Chapel. Edward Mammatt born March 26: 1807 Died April 23: 1860 This monument was erected and the window above restored To mark the regard of surviving friends For one who though blind from early boyhood Employed the powers of an accomplished mind For the welfare and enlightenment of all around him. (Photo Aug 2015).
