The west doorway surround has heraldic shields, starting from lower left; 1, Azure three garbs argent a chief or, (Peverell). 2, Argent a maunch sable (Hastings). 3, Argent three toads sable (Botreaux). 4, Hastings, 5, Sable two bars argent in chief three plates (Hungerford). 6, Hastings, 7, Sable three sickles interwoven argent (?Sicklemore). 8, Paly wavy of six or and gules (Moleyns). 9, Hastings. 10, Or three roundels gules a label of three points azure (Courtenay).
